Redhat Exam Versions

I'm signed up for this exam: EX288V42K (Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development Exam v 4.2)

My question is, is the exam version "locked in" at the time of purchase or do you always just take the latest ?

If it is locked in, then how can I find the specific objectives for my version vs. the latest version ?
