Hi
Windows or your operating system does not matter, it is not in use when booting an external Red Hat system from USB
You CPU was introduced in Q4'2021. It is likely your complete chipset is not yet supported by the exam Fedora you are booting. It is normal for other distros as well. Building support, and drivers, can take even years or never be done.
The Logitech c920 should be ok, according to others in the forum.
The 100% and stuck error happen, it is usually a compatibility issue with the chipset or the GPU. AMD and NVIDIA video cards are often without native support. If you can disable the GPU in the BIOS and use just the integrated INTEL GPU, this could help. Also, make sure the dock is not connected, no other memory card is entered.

I see your mainboard has both hdmi and display port output. I do not know which one you are using. If HDMI, try to connect the monitor over the display port. Not sure if it may help, dont buy it, just in case you have it and you can give it a try. If non of this helps, you need to use some older and more mainstrream computer or visit the exam centre.

Hello @PetrCihlar , Team,

I was trying with your image, and this one passed previous "view" but stuck on another one like black screen with AOURS logo in the central and fedora down and it stucked.... Might be also a factor that I am using 4k monitor?:( ehhh this shall not happen with remote exams:((....

May I use then laptop M1 with external camera, keyboard, mouse connected to the dock? Please advice.

Kind regards,

Patryk

Hi,
4k monitor can be used. Just the display resolution has to be set to FULL HD
Apple M1 does not comply with requirements (must be Intel X86 compatible CPU)

Thank You very much @PetrCihlar , I am allowed to create a support case for this? I am basically blocked and concerned what to do next. May I then use other old windows laptop and set external monitor, along with camera, mouse then?? I need to take an exam within 10 days otherwise my voucher will expire;-(((

Hi
I think you simply need to use another computer for it. The support will not help you, it is clearly the compatibility issue. Perhaps, it can be resolved in some future releases of the exam ISO, when released. Yes, I would use the old computer with an external screeen, keyboard and a mouse, With the display lid closed. The speed of the computer is not important, as long as it boots. It is just a terminal. Go for it and dont waste time with your modern motherboard.
