Hi.
How would I go about getting a trial for Satellite 6.x ?
I have a developers subscription.
Running this on RHEL 8.10.
subscription-manager list --available | grep -i satellite
Provides: Red Hat Satellite Capsule Beta
Red Hat Satellite Beta
When I try and enable the repo's, satellite-6.16-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms is not found, which makes sense since it's not listed in subscription-manager repos --list.
subscription-manager repos \
--enable=rhel-8-for-x86_64-baseos-rpms \
--enable=rhel-8-for-x86_64-appstream-rpms \
--enable=satellite-6.16-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms \
--enable=satellite-maintenance-6.16-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms
Following this documentation:
https://docs.redhat.com/en/documentation/red_hat_satellite/6.16/html/installing_satellite_server_in_...
What if I don't want the Beta, can't I try the current version without purchasing it?
Got help from Red Hat, figured it out.
Of course, I should have added that to my post.
I got access to the Red Hat Partner Connect through my company.
I would reach out to Red Hat, I'm sure you will figure something out.
Anyone?
All info greatly appreciated.
The trial download link doesn't work either.
