Weekly technical quiz contest or a technical troubleshooting challenge will be great in the learning process. It can be done for  1. General (Linux & Platform ) 2. OpenShift  3. Automation or other tools.

Apart from the above , It will be nice to have other reaction options to a post or it's replies and then a  bookmark icon  to a post ( next to a post or reply - there itself ).

something like this :

bookmark icon which can itself tell us whether the post was bookmarked or not :

Dears, my thoughts are below.

To foster a sense of belonging and active participation among community members. More interactive discussions, live events, or Q&A sessions

To facilitate skill development and knowledge sharing within the community. Establishing mentorship programs or learning initiatives can help members grow their expertise.

Something that shows the various pathways to acheiving certifications like RHCA. For example, I think I need to pass seven exams? I've passed four so far... are they the right exams to have passed... what should I study next?

This subpage is sadly neither complete/up-to-date (as of my personal checking/planning throughout the last year) nor consistent through the different language options, as those seem to be managed by different teams.

If you look for RHCA pathways/exams to take within the whole redhat page(s), you will find many different information

best regards,
Alexander

Nice job so far! If you don't already have it, i would recommend taking EX188.
This startup for Red Hat Openshift has so many course/exams after that, so i would say EX188 is definitely a must have in your RHCA future (for both admins and developers) regardless which other courses you will take after that!

I would like to see pages of learning resources (books, webinars, YouTubes, etc) that are more affordable than the multi-thousand dollar training courses Red Hat offers.

I agree. Plus the premium $2K addition IMO is *not* worth it. The times at which these live classes are conducted are not conducive to US timezones. And a lot of them seem to be just parroting the course book and there doesn't seem to be a value add.

The lab setup seems to be a hit and go. Sometimes I have zero issues. Other times, the nodes don't come up or they come up incorrectly. Either the networking is not right, the OS distribution is not right etc. Sometimes deleting the entire env and recreating works. Other times, it doesn't. Sometimes this is frustrating.

The coursebooks on the other hand are mostly excellent. There are a lot of resources for the basic RHCSA and RHCE exams on the Internet. books etc. Just do a search. Setting up your own VMs might save you money but is not as convenient as having the RHLS labs :-). But if you have the time you should set up a lab network yourself (it's easy enough these days with vagrant etc.) and practice.
