I've been teaching a few of the Red Hat classes for a little while now. From that perspective, I like RH134 as it really gets into configuring systems and making things work.

I'll be teaching DO180 for the first time beginning in a couple of weeks. I very much enjoyed this past summer when I was working on the class. Its fun creating containers and seeing things work. (It's fun when things don't work and you then figure out why.)

I guess that's my main theme: I like making things work - and fixing them when they don't. This makes since as this has been my job, in one form or another, since I first joined the Navy in 1984 as an Electronics Technician. As a result, I really resonate with hands-on instruction.

@Tracy_Baker how exciting! Giving your students the ability to dive into the deeper complexities of Linux System Administration, as well as containers is a valuable gift that will exponentially impact their future careers. If I could go back and take more hands on courses in the collegiate environment, it would be a no-brainer for me. Thanks for all that you do.

Best,

Deanna

Almost all of the training I have done so far in my last couple of subscriptions have all been excellent. Recently at work I have had some challenges presented to me and my team with unrealistic timelines, and thankfully when trying to prepare, I stumbled upon the course: Red Hat OpenShift Installation Lab (DO322) taught by Grega Bremec. He's an excellent instructor and this is precisely the type of real world training that I needed to be prepared for this most recent organizational need. If you haven't had a chance to check it out I highly recommend it, I can practically guarantee practically all related concepts dealing with the latest openshift installation and configuration are made clear, watching this cleared a path for what I'm hoping will be a succes.

Thanks,

@itnet7 Thank you for sharing! I have shared this directly with the curriculum team who builds our Red Hat courses. If you have addtional feedback on other courses you would like to see, or courses you have previously taken please feel free to let us know about that as well.

We are indeed fortunate to have top instructors like Grega (@benko) be a part of the Red Hat family, who dedicate their time to helping others learn how to work with Red Hat products!

Best of luck to you, and feel free to use this community as you continue to build your skillset, and if you face any challenges down the road - we have a community of folks ready to help.

Thanks,

Deanna

My favorite Red Hat Courses were RH124 and RH134 and DO180. Reasons: the 124 and 134 were my very first exposure to Red Hat code. So there is some love history there. DO180 opened my mind up to receive the exciting new knowledge of containers, Openshift, container images and workflows. Now on this amazing new path and even discovered Kubernetes and docker and how Openshift makes those other technologies even better by extending functionality.

My "favorite" is the one I am preping for an exam, in this case DO447/EX447. Hope to take it twice, but scheduled one shot this Friday 10am.
