How to check network traffic health check on Linux OS

install iptraf or vnstat - both are good tools for this - but there are many out there

 thanks for share valuable information but I don’t have access particular box . It’s most process running java related . Where stored network traffic related logs in Linux OS and if any traffic related log then could you please share log path . Finally thanks for your suggestion.
