Hello,
I took my RHCSA exam offline in Azerbaijan at the MUK Training Center, under the supervision of your official Red Hat exam proctors. It was not a remote exam.
My question is:
Was I required to complete RH124 and RH134 course videos before taking the RHCSA exam?
Currently, my certification status only shows RHCSA, which I can see listed in my profile.
It would be helpful if you could clarify whether completing those training modules is mandatory prior to the exam, or if self-study and direct examination are acceptable.
P.S.
I earned my RHCSA certification in December 2024, and my next goal is RHCE, for which I’ve already started preparing.
Thank you in advance for your clarification.
Best regards,
Ramal Hashimli
I think, You are not required to complete the RH124 (Red Hat System Administration I) and RH134 (Red Hat System Administration II) courses in order to take the RHCSA (EX200) exam. These courses are recommended, not mandatory.
Since you took your exam offline in Azerbaijan at MUK Training Center under official Red Hat proctors, it’s a valid Red Hat–administered exam.If your Red Hat account (on the Red Hat Certification Portal) shows your RHCSA credential listed, that means: Your certification is officially verified and active.

@Ramal_Hashimli No you are not required to complete any trainings before taking RHCSA exam. The trainings are for your benefit to get acquainted with the product and tool.
Your RHCSA is active so you can take the RHCE now ( with or without any training as per your wish ).
