RHEL subscription

Hi.
Does anyone use RHEL for personal use? I'm interested in knowing how much the subscription costs.

You can get a free Developer subscription that will entitle you to register up to 16 systems. More info about getting that gratis subscription at:

Huh, here's me with egg on my face. I recently paid $179 for a single seat workstation license. Not for personal use, mind you, but for testing and studying as part of my job.

Good news is, with this subscription you also have access to a bunch of developer-like tools. Also noteworty, you also have access to Ansible Automation Platform if that interests you as well

Thank you! I downloaded RHEL and registered it with my personal RH account. Is that enough? I didnt find to choose a specific type of subscription (development in my case).

@dkcbk  If you login to the Customer Portal and visit the following URL, you should be able to see your active subscription(s).

-> https://access.redhat.com/management

It will show your "developer subscription for individuals" which you can inspect to see how many of the 16 licenses you're already using.

Yep, that is enough. New / existing RHSM accounts are being migrated to Simple Content Access meaning you don't need to attach a subscription to the systems (commands like 'subscription-manager attach --auto', etc). Just 'subscription-manager register' and you're set.
