Hi,
Would like to ask if RHV supports PCI HSM card using Utimaco HSM.
Thanks in advance.
Paul
Utimaco having procedure or even supporting RHEL, doesn't mean that Red Hat support Utimaco.
"Not Supporting" doesn't mean "doesn't work". Just means that if you face a problem, Red Hat won't be able to help you, since they haven't certified. But Utimaco may support you, and give you help if you face any difficulties.
No, according to https://access.redhat.com/ecosystem/search, it's not supported/certified.
cheers
Ricardo
Hi Ricardo,

Any thoughts?

RHV doesn't support the PCI HSM card using Utimaco. To use an HSM, you would typically connect network-based HSM solutions instead of a PCI card. If you want to understand in detail about the HSM's features, and how it works, you can refer to the following guide:- https://signmycode.com/blog/what-is-a-hardware-security-module-role-of-hsms-for-digital-signing
