Hello everyone,
For preparing RHSCA Exam I've read new feature and some docs regarding RHEL 9 then I installed RHEL 9 (Plow) for testing.
I'm surprised that the commands given by the official Red Hat documentation RHEL 9 for example to change the root password don't work on my system. I also see that no link exists on my file /boot/efi/EFI/redhat/grub.cfg
$ cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 9.0 (Plow)
$ uname -a
Linux rhel9-laboA 5.14.0-70.22.1.el9_0.x86_64 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Aug 2 10:02:12 EDT 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Is any issue with this version? Is RHEL 9 Documentation based on another release?
Has anyone experienced the same problem?
Thank you for your help

I just discovered this issue too. The Guided Exercise and Lab for SA2 Chapter 8 do not work. RH hasnt responded to this issue yet. However, I did some googling and it turns out this is a known bug. See link below. It also gives a work-around.

What password command are you referring to?
And about the link, what is the expected source and destination?

Thanks Bernard_McNair for your reply and informations. It's really helpful. It has an impact on EX200K9 exam and it could be hard or issues for many people. Do you know how to reach RHEL exam certification?
