Red Hat Official Best Practices Documents, Similar to this for RHV?
Hi there,
I stumbled upon this amazing document for Red Hat Virtualization 4 Best Practices from Red Hat, and I was wondering if there's a spot where I can access other documents similar to it.
I looked around but didn't find any, so I thought maybe some of you know better? Is there a collection for Best Practices documents for RHEL, and other products too?
Thanks!

Quick search revealed some useful links.
OpenStack - https://access.redhat.com/articles/1298173
OpenShift - https://access.redhat.com/solutions/2966561
Ansible - https://www.redhat.com/en/about/videos/ansible-best-practices-startups-enterprises (video)
I can guarantee that the above links are curated by Red Hat.
Hope this helps!

HI rootameen,
I found a TON of Best Practice guides while searching the Red Hat Knowledge Base. Search for things like:
- Deployment Examples
- Recommended Practices
- Design Guidance
- Diagnostic Procedures
- Administrative Procedures
The Red Hat KB is a virtual gold mine of useful info.
Best Regards,
-Gordon

A bit of GoogleFu could help you here :-)
Do a search for:
best practices site:redhat.com
It searches for the phrase best practices amongst all URL's ending in redhat.com
HTH!

Hi Guys,
Would like to know if Red Hat supports a single node RHV environment (all-in-one). I know that this is possible by using the self-hosted engine. But is Red Hat will support this if someone opens a support case.
Thanks,
Paul

You're best off asking support directly. The documentation strongly implies that a two-node RHVH environment (running the self-hosted engine for RHVM, and each running the HA services) is the minimum:
To be honest, managing hypervisor upgrades normally with an all-in-one architecture would be a pain in the neck, and would require downtime of your hosted VMs (including the SPM) and RHVM.
On the other hand, the docs for Red Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure for Virtualization, which is RHV + Gluster storage, does have a single node deployment that the documentation discusses:
That might be worth investigation for you. My guess is that if you're really interested in single-node, you might be encouraged to look in that direction. Even there, the preferred configuration is at least three nodes if you want better availability.
