Red Hat linux kiosk with only firefox in fullscreen and all gnome stuff disabled!

Hi,

We are actually working on creating a kind of kiosk that will only display firefox in kiosk mode and prohit user to see anything else or have any other options. Those kiosk will be in shop where the goal is to only display page to punch in and punch out. We use RHEL 9.5!

I have some difficulty disabling the following stuff using either dconf file or cli

  • Disabling the overview at start

Even if i put a file with this setup and do a "dconf update":

[org/gnome/shell/extensions/dash-to-dock]
disable-overview-on-startup=true

this make that my firefox is not full screen at boot and need to click one time

  • Disable setting options
  • Disable network panel
  • Disabling calendar...
  • Disabling top bar
  • Disable the dash to dock

At the end we don't use to do anything except using the web page the browser is displaying.

Anyone has advice on that or reference i can use ?

try some some stuff but seem to didn't take effect or not really applied in those situation.

Thank in advance
