Jump to solution

In the RHSCA Exam environment, do both terminals share the network configuration, or do they both need separate network configurations for each terminal?

@Marcus26 That is predominantly related to  accidental or intentional misconfigurations during the exam - which could lead to issues during the reboot process. This could be due to but not limited to -  incorrect service configuration, filesystem issues, or errors in network settings.

One of the most important objective of any Red Hat exam is that your configuration must persist reboot. It seems you did not check that during the exam.

I gotta be honest here... When I read this question, I can't help but to think that you are nowhere near ready to take the RHCSA.

Terminals do not have network configurations. Systems (virtual machines) do. If they're two different systems, their network configurations must be different - similar, but different.

I'm not sure that answered your question. Perhaps you can be more clear on what you mean.

I explained that the wrong way. The reason I'm asking is that I was given the following details about my results:

"At the end of the exam, prior to being graded, all candidate systems are rebooted".
"Unfortunately, your's one of the systems did not reboot to a usable state and could not be graded".
