Switching from the Developer Edition to the Enterprise Edition.

Good morning,

If I install the Red Hat 9 Developer Edition, can I later purchase an Enterprise license for it? Does the installation version of the free Red Hat 9 Developer Edition differ from the Red Hat Enterprise Edition?

Hello, 

To switch from a Red Hat Developer Edition to an Enterprise Edition, you'll need to acquire a Red Hat Enterprise Linux subscription and then use the subscription-manager tool to register your system and attach the subscription.

# subscription-manager register --username <username> --password <password> --auto-attach
