UUID ISSUE

Hello Everyone,

Good afternoon!

Need support in given issue.

• How to change the UUID / serial of a guest running on Hyper V ?

I have cloned the Red Hat VM on HyperV and require to change the System UUID. Assist me.

I am using RHEL7

I think you can do entering in rescue mode or rd.break:

1. Enter into the system in rescue mode and run "/usr/bin/systemctl daemon-reload" to update all systemd.mounts entries
2. Generate you "/etc/fstab" with the new information.
