gedit issue

i activated x11 for ssh then i connected from ssh client to ssh server and i ran set of times gedit but it does not work

# gedit
Unable to init server: Could not connect: Connection refused

(gedit:3520812): Gtk-WARNING **: 13:42:24.271: cannot open display:

have you any advises to fix it ?

Have you tried ssh with  -X   or used "xhost local:"

Thank you for you suggestion. happily i resolved the issue by exporting DISPLAY value.
