Hi,
I've a setting in /proc/sys/net/ipv4/igmp_max_memberships to set the value to 20.
ip maddress show |grep inet |grep -c 239 -> shows 15
However for some of the MC address in the "ip maddress show" command , it shows users 20.
my query is ,
1) Is users 20 is the limit of igmp_max_membership (which is set at 20) ?
2) OR the 15 number above shows the number that igmp_max_membership number represent ?
3) Is there any system defined limit that can tell the maximum subscriptions for a particular MC address ( for eg users 50 or 100 ) ?
@MunishDhawan not sure much about it , however you can refer this : https://access.redhat.com/solutions/58289
