specific logs are require to backup on linux OS

Hi team,

if any one knows could you please share :

nearly number of folders ( around 70) and but i need to take backup 30 folders and remain not required . how to use the command for take backup at a time and any specific method .( its general question and no scenario for logs to share here ) .

tar --exclude='./folder' --exclude='./upload/folder2' -zcvf /backup/filename.tgz
