How to upgrade RHEL with and without a subscription, 7.9 to 8.2\8.6.? ...
Please share the steps.
While Red Hat provides LEAPP [1], it's probably worth to assess first whether the applications running inside the system will be compatible with RHEL8, whether the hardware supports RHEL8 and whether the system is reproducible if it needs to be reinstalled later on. Tools exists and have been used successfully for widespread OS migrations, but in general it's advisable to spend time building a better "build-from-scratch automated process".
Thank you for your valuable information... will check the same.
Thank you buddy for your valuable post but the given process is with an RHEL subscription and I m looking for without a subscription or an ISO file to upgrade the server. Because while working on production server there no internet available.
We have to perform an activity with limited access only.
Also, in offline mode, we use Leap utility only but the steps are different.
