Dark mode

Jump to solution

A rather simple request, is there any potential or plans for a dark mode? My eyes are sensitive to plain white backgrounds meaning I read with significantly more ease on a dark background. I can easily download an extension, but a dark mode built into the website is much more natural and doesn't distort images or colorful webpages. I'm currently on chrome 139.

Thanks for the feedback @Zack1 . Yes, we have discussed including a dark mode with our content and platform. This is a request we've heard from other students. There is no current ETA, but we will post here in the community once that feature has a timeline on our roadmap, and also in our release notes once available.

Thank you very much! The course structure makes it incredibly convenient to use extensions in order to make the change to dark mode. The lack of content that becomes distorted by a good extension makes workaround solutions significantly more palatable. I will patiently wait, and utilize workarounds for now, as that is enough to satisfy my needs. I do ascribe to the philosophy of making web design as accessible as possible so I do hope that you guys eventually make the change.

Cheers, Zack.
