In the EX294 exam is there any access to docs on https://docs.ansible.com/ ?
I ask, because for commands like ansible-galaxy, the man pages are woefully short on parameters available to options like 'ansible-galaxy collections'. And after 40+ years in the profession, I do not commit every single possible parameter a command has to memory. Most of it works by muscle memory, and most of it is then scripted and I usually never need to actually type it again.
Except in an exam..
In the man page (For example ansible-galaxy), it basically says there is a collections command... And you need to provide it with something to do. All good, because in the real world, I can access the docs on docs.ansible.com
But is access to that available in the exam?
There is an off line version of docs.ansible.com available when I took the RHCE. It is not a exact mirror, as some things were not there that I expected to be there.
@TravellingKiwi The document that ships with the product is available in the exam in pdf/ html format.
for more clarification, please reach out to https://rhtapps.redhat.com/comments
Yeah, but the ansible docs don't ship with the product. They're online. Is there a copy of docs.ansible.com available in the exam?
@TravellingKiwi not sure about it as I cleared the exam long back. I do believe that whatever docs is required by exam is available there but I strongly recommend you to contact the exam support via the link I gave to be 100% sure as they are the official exam support to provide info on the same.
Hello
I am pretty sure you cannot seek the documentation online, as there is no connection to the Internet. But I think some basic documentation is available. I am not sure it can be commented here as it may be under NDA, but perhaps @Manasa_S_N could give a hint here, at least.
