Is it possible to get additional time for a student if they use the provided 60 hours? Many of my RH124 students are just learning computing. Turning the labs off when finished & general cloud computing concepts are not something that is covered in the course materials directly so some students are burning through their time by starting things up when they log in and letting it run while they're not using it. Is there a way to add additional hours for the student if they run out?
Also, since we are now supposed to rely on the lab environment for delivering the course labs, is there a systems status page or outage schedule that instructors and students can refer to? Four of my students all started receiving the same error Sunday @ 10PM MST 6/5/2022. They were able to start their vms but no one, including myself, were able to open a console to workstation due to timeouts. It would be great to know when maintenance is scheduled or being performed or if there is an outage. We reported the incidents to support and they responded and escalated the ticket but it ends up being days later that they could not reproduce the issue. With our local labs, we published outages and it would be great to be able to point students to any scheduled outages for the lab environment if they are indeed scheduled.
To give an update, according to Academy support, lab hours cannot be added in RAHLP. Once the students run out of the 60 hours, they must seek lab hours elsewhere.
