That's great to hear, Hesara! AI and cloud computing are hot topics in the tech world, so its wonderful to hear you hope to learn more about those technologies! The Red Hat Academy program has quite a few System Administration and Cloud computing courses in the portfolio if you'd like to see if you're instructor might be able to support your enrollment in one of these courses.

I have just completed the Red Hat System Administration I 9.0 course which was offered as a for credit course through the College of Southern Nevada(CSN). After completing that, I took a chance at winning a CompTIA Linux+ voucher through our end of smester "Cert Fair" and did pretty poorly on the CompTIA Linux+ exam objectives outside of "1.0 System Management" but I was intrigued to discover CompTIA expects Linux system administrators to know some Ansible, Podman, Docker. I've also started to fool around a bit with ostree and OS Build.

I will be leaving CSN for Utah State University ad I will be surprised if there are opportunities to continue with Red Hat Academy as a for credit course option that becomes affordable through Pell Grants, federal student loans, etc.

If you have roles for paid student ambassadors for Red Hat tech on college campuses that also have access to training materials and courses like the next in the series towards RHCSA and the Ansible, Open Shift and AI technologies, do let me know, I would be interested!

@SorenSorensen Thanks for sharing your experience. Utah State University is not currently an RHA partner school so unfortunately we don't have a way for you to continue your RHA coursework with them right now but I will reach out to a member of the Utah State team and see if they'd like to explore joining the program. We'll let you know if they join!

I’m Hesara Jayasekera and I am studying BSc (Hons) Cyber Security. I am currently enrolled at the University of Bolton, United Kingdom.

I recently completed the Red Hat System Administration II (RH134) course. I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge in Red Hat technologies and am particularly interested in learning more about advanced system administration, Artificial Intelligence and cloud computing with Red Hat. I'm excited to connect with fellow students and professionals who share a passion for open-source technologies!
