Hello!

I am the creator of the DIY environment that RHA offers. I am also the one that updated the environment to support Dual Boot to support specifically RHA.

If you have any issues with implementing, I would love to hear the feedback!

Are you downloading the boot media from Gilmore? What version did you download?

Let me know if there is anything I can offer to support your learning.

Hi ralii ! I tried to install foundationx for students on a physical machine, keeping the Windows operating system already installed, without success. After that, I noticed that in the Red Hat Academy repository, there are the dual boot images, and now I am downloading them to try again. If everything ends well, or not, I will tell you. Regards! Hi benlimanto,

Did you do this by booting with the $ rht-dualboot on option at the start?
Did you do the same for the foundation0 and the fx machine of the students?

regards!

Hello castorga,

Yes I did run the $ rht-dualboot on, and the output said that write the pxe boot. Make sure your RH client is having a blank an unallocated disk space, so when the kickstart booted via pxe, it will directly inhibit/format that particular unallocated space, and viola, the grub will replace windows boot manager and you have dual booted lab :)

thanks benlimanto, it finally worked for me too!

I used the option  $ fx rht-dualboot on

I tried to install remotely through the pxe option but it was not possible, I don't know why. Anyway, I already have everything installed and ready to start with the students.

Thanks for everything!
