EX180 Retired ??? Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes exam

Hi All,

I know DO180 training has a DO188 as new independent training for developers. But what about EX180 I noticed yesterday that has been marked as "Retired". what  does that mean??no more cert EX180 exam?

The exam ex180 has been retired since the 1st of January 2023. It's not possible to buy a new ex180 voucher after this date.

The ex188 is not a complete replacement for the ex180, but it's quite similar.

I'm confused. I took the DO180 course, but there's no test?
Has another exam replaced it.
I'm also doing DO188 and they don't cover exactly the same material as some have sugested.

@JohnnySideburns Yes there is no certification exam for DO180 course, the exam PE180 is a preliminary exam with no certification. It will test you for your knowledge and understanding around the DO180 course and can be useful in gaining actual exam environment experience and how you perform the concepts explained in DO180 course. Also, this will definitely help in your Openshift Admin certification exam EX280 which is based on course DO280.

Also note that PE exams are going to retire on 31st March 2025.
