Every semester I have students make this mistake. They don't pay attention to the instructions and end up doing it on the wrong system, wrong user, and/or wrong directory.
Most "Guided Exercises" are done on servera and most "Labs" are done on serverb.
Paying attention to the details in the instructions is just as important as actually doing it - this is a big-time hint for those who will take the certification exam!

This is extremely helpful Tracy, because I never would have thought about asking if the command was being executed on the proper server - that's just low-hanging fruit that I assume doesn't even need to be addressed.
This is reminding me of an actual incident that took place just last Thursday, around 9:30pm. As I was coming to my vehicle, I saw a bag on the top, and an individual inserting and attempting to turn a key in my trunk. The person that was doing this was somone who had just come from the same event that I was attending. There was a Happy Hour following the event, so my initial thought was that the gentleman may have had one too many. When I approached my vehicle, I calmly said to him, "Sir, this is my vehicle". He actually thought it was his vehicle - because of the location our vehicles were parked, and the identical make, model, and color of our vehicles. My vehicle was parked only one vehicle over from his. He did notice that the tinting on my windows were darker than on his vehicle, but he never bothered to look at the license plate, or anything else. He was not intoxicated, he just did not Pay Attention to the particular vehicle!!!
Paying attention - this can be a big help!!!
