Good morning Jan,

Welcome to the Red Hat Learning Community. Quick question. Once you became RHCSA certified, was it a "game changer" for your career? Also, was that the same premise once you obtained your RHCE? I am in the process of preparnig for the RHCSA certitfication and I would like to have your insight. Thank you for your time  and I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Good day @sdea2900 ,

In early 2000's there was not RHSCA, so to me it was a bommer not being able to maintain the RHCE level.

It was not a great "game changer" as I worked already for 5 years in the IT before I got my Red Hat Certifications. I already had a HP-UX certificate.

Once I had the ambition to become a RHCA, as that failed due to budget, I got more and more into Red Hat Accreditations as that was more benificial for my employer.

Regards,

Jan Gerrit

P.S. I am member of the community since 2019, but missed this subject.
