What is changing?
Course Attendance Credly badges are replacing the Certificate of Attendance issued through the Red Hat Learning Community, as well as the Program Learner badge.
Earning Criteria:
Red Hat Academy Students need to attend a course percentage specified by instructors for each course they are enrolled in on the Red Hat Academy Learning Platform.
Red Hat Academy Instructors need to attend 75% of the self-paced course through the Get Trained and Certified section on the Red Hat Academy Learning Platform.
Users who completed a class before March 19, 2025 will continue to have access to their historical certificate of attendance, any class completed after March 19, 2025 will be issued a Credly badge along with a downloadable certificate.
How do I receive my badge?
There are two ways to claim your badge - see the details below. You also need to create a Credly account if you don't already have one.
1. Through the Red Hat Academy Learning Platform.
2. An email sent by Credly (admin@credly.com) to your email address.
In addition to your badge, you can also download a certificate through Credly.
