Preliminary Exam Retirement

Dear Students & Instructors,

We’d like to inform you that Preliminary Exams will be retired as an offering at the end of March 2025, both for Red Hat Academy as well as commercially.

If you have received a notification about a discount on the Preliminary Exam, or if you receive one, please, ensure you redeem the discount by March 31, 2025. You will still have one year to take your Preliminary Exam from the date of purchase.

See below for the Preliminary Exams references:

• Preliminary Exam in System Administration I (PE124)
• Preliminary Exam in Red Hat OpenStack Administration (PE110)
• Preliminary Exam in Red Hat OpenShift Administration (PE180)

Note that the current PE180 Promotion is not impacted, and the eligible students will receive a voucher to redeem it by the end of March.

Red Hat Academy students should contact their instructor, who has visibility into exam promo code eligibility within the platform. If eligibility is confirmed, please follow the steps below to open a support ticket.
