Problems with Red Hat System Administration I 9.0: Ch 15, Lab: Manage Networks

As soon as I type 'nmcli connection up static', the terminal hangs and becomes unresponsive (Image 1). I can't type or anything. When I close the terminal and restart, the same problem happens or an error appears (Image 2). I already deleted the lab and started again, but the same problem is repeated. What should I do?

Hello @maddu_ !

If that is happening , do the same in serverb console directly :

Refer this in the top of the guided exercise :

Hi @maddu_

Even if the ipv4.addresses setting is correct, it will hang the session.

I tell my students to close the terminal session, open another, then SSH into the serverb using the new IPv4 address. If it works, it is done correctly. If not, then open a console connection to serverb, log in, and correct the connection settings.

It makes sense, the student is changing the IPv4 setting on serverb from .11 to .111, and the ssh session was connected to .11.
