I program for fun an leisure (seriously): Bash (scripting), Java, and Python at the moment.

I also teach programming at my college. Currently, I teach Python and Bash.

Hello NancyKAN,

I follow in the footsteps of Tracy when it comes to Python programming.  I even attained a couple of certifications in Python, that are offered by the Python Institute: "Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer (PCEP)" and "Certified Associate Python Programmer (PCAP)".  If you do decide to go in the direction of Python, I encourage you to pursue any of the Python programming certifications offered by the Python Institute - they will definitely assess your knowledge and skills!!!
