RHEL 10 was released in May 2025. Has the RHCE course for this new release made its debut yet?
@Trevor -
AS @TudorRaduta mentioned the new AAP 2.5 and RHEL10 version for RHCE has been in development for a while. We have changed course SKUs and is is AU294, but this course has also been developed in "lesson" format. What does that mean, essentially, it means that part of this course have already been released to production and are available. The lab environment has been out for quite some time and several of the individual lessons (chapters) are avaialble. The SKUs start with AU0018L (which corresponds to Chapter 1) and progress to I think AU0027L.
You should be able to search the training catalog in RHLS and be able to identify the titles of the lessons that will likely belong to the RHEL10 RHCE AAPv2.5 course.
Thanks Tudor!!!

Thanks for that response Travis!
Thanks for explaining "lesson" format, cause I sure wouldn't have been able to!
What's your best guess as to when the exam will make its debut, for the new RHEL10 RHCE AAPv2.5 course?
This is not significant, but what does the "AU" refer to in the SKU AU294?
Thanks Travis!
@Trevor -
The SKUs are working closely to more align with lessons and content. The AU in this instance is meant to refer to the Automation Practice which is where the Ansible product is slated. We also have RH (Red Hat), AD (AppDev), DO (DevOps - traditionally OpenShift).
This is to point out that the course instead of being in the RHEL practice is actually in the Ansible Automation practice. So the rest of the DOxxx Ansible courses have been and are being re-sku'd to the AUxxx format.
The course should be released in the next several weeks as a GA version (full course to production) providing everything goes smoothly with the release process. The exam should follow shortly after and should at the latest be 2026Q1. I believe most things are squared away with the exam team for this exam, so I would expect it early December as well.
To make things easier to find ...
- AU294
- AU0018L
- AU0020L
- AU0021L
- AU0022L
- AU0023L
- AU0024L
- AU0025L
- AU0026L
- AU0027L
The course SKU is AU294 and again isn't released, however, the individual lesson SKUs are here that make up the course. I still will need to push the final lab environment to production as I recently made changes for some of the yet to be published lessons. I expect to do that sometime soon to in order to align with the full production release and end-to-end QA tests.
Travis, your explanation is equivalent to my asking someone to loan me
$5, and instead of placing 5-one dollar bills in my hand, they provide 5-one hundred
dollar bills!!!
Many thanks for this very valuable explanation!!!
Great Question..!
Thanks @Trevor
