I'm wondering if is it okay to take filesystem snapshots after every successful tested task and if something happen during the exam i rollback to the last snapshot then continue from that point !
I would suggest a different approach. Read through all the questions and then do them in the order that is less riskful. For example, if the last question is about configuring storage you might want to do that one first.
