In RHEL 8, RH124, Chapter 7, Section 6, umask Example, there is a significant error in the example:
The touch default command should be changed touch default.txt
This would allow the next three commands to work properly: ls -l default.txt, mkdir default, and ls -ld default
This mistake was not made in the two examples that follow this one.
