Hello, my name is Pietro, and I recently started as Student Ambassador at 42 Wolfsburg. I am writing here because I was wondering if a Student Ambassador Community exists, as for example an online space to exchange best practices for events organization, labs and so on. I am asking this because I feel like it might be very helpful not only to those who are starting in this role, but also to anyone else who may be doing similar activities.
Hi @Pietro_42- congratulations on becoming a student ambassador with Red Hat Academy! What courses have you taken so far - and what have you enjoyed learning the most?
Happy to source some tips for you once I have more information on your goals - do you want to take open source into your career? What technologies are you most interested in learning? Are you planning to take a certification exam?
Thanks and best of luck,
Hello @Deanna , sorry for the late reply, I definitely would love to take open source into my career, and yes I am planning on taking some of the certification exams. At the moment I just followed a part of the system administration courses, but I plan on passing to cloud computing after I feel confident with my SA skills.
Hi @Deanna & @Pietro_42
I'm interested in the RedHat Student Ambassador Program. Could you please guide me ?
Hi @Arsalan ,
my application as Student ambassador was mediated by my institution, but there was today an online session where Red Hat disclosed this link (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfZl8-MCv5t7p1POXCVlM8hJa6sbBHAXKK99xfLL0dcnqDoKQ/viewform) which allows you to submit your interest in the program. Perhaps @Deanna can give you more complete information though.
I hope this answers your question
A collaborative learning environment, enabling open source skill development.
