According to Indeed, between October 2015 and October 2019, the share of Kubernetes jobs per million grew by 2,141% while the share of Kubernetes job searches increased by 2,125%. However, during that time span, Indeed found that while Kubernetes jobs per million grew 53%, the amount of Kubernetes job searches rose by only .85% [1].

I highly recommend the DO180 - Red Hat OpenShift I: Containers & Kubernetes course.

It is a great introduction for instructors and for our students, as you pointed "Containers" and "OpenShift" are the future.

I am using this class to get our Programming instructors to look at the New World.
