We are proud to announce the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification path will be updated to reflect the changes in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (RHEL8) release along with a focus on Ansible automation. Linux automation is key for system administrators in today’s IT market. With the changing IT landscape, system administrators need to understand automation fundamentals as well as know how to deploy, configure, and manage an operating system.
The new RHCE certification path will now focus on the automation of Linux system administration tasks using RHEL8, Ansible, and shell scripting, which will be supplemented by a new course and exam. By shifting the focus of RHCE to the automation of system administration we are reflecting the current reality for organizations that have begun their digital transformation journey and the coming reality for all IT organizations.
