Following course CL220.
What is the correct process for restart the CL220 lab?
Provisioning a lab, follow guided exercises to Chapter 8.
All appears to work correctly.
Shutdown lab.
Start lab, try and create RHVM or OSE guest instances.
I am unable to create instances in OSE or RHVM?
This is my restart process.
Login to RHLS, Select CL220.
Start the lab, login to RHVM ensure the host and storage is activated.
From CFME I ensure that the authentication for OSE and RHVM is validated.
When I try and create a new vm instance from CFME for RHVM or OSE always ends in error.
Is there something else required when restarting the lab?
This course running in ravello is buggy.
The workaround is if Status gives an error. Restart neutron.
ssh to RHOSP
and
openstack-service restart neutron
Hope this helps somebody else.
Hey @Traxtopel thanks for taking one of our courses, and sorry to hear about your experience. In the latest release, we notice that the OpenStack Neutron service is not very stable. For now, as you have pointed out, restarting the service is sufficient.
We are aware of this problem and did our best to include in the lab script an automated procedure to restart that service.
Hope that helps.

I should also mention even with validation, OSE last refresh status keeps getting a connection refused.
