How do I enroll for an exam using the learning subscription?
Looking at https://training-lms.redhat.com I can see 7-8 different versions of the same course (different languages)- and the Learning Path information % does reflect my actual course completion... it's always at 0%.
How do I go about taking EX294? When I tried, it just says: ENROLLMENT TRIGGER
Showed up after ~1 hour here: https://rhtapps.redhat.com/individualexamscheduler
Still wish it was a lot easier to find and schedule exams through training-lms... rol.redhat.com is a much better system, but unfortunately, I cannot schedule exams through it.
Thank you. I was able to book (eventually), but found another issue: I am already RHCSA certified, but apparently, that's another account with the same user ID.
Looks like it's possible to have a Red Hat Learning Subscription using the same email, it simply created another ID. So now I have RHCSA on one account, and RHLS and my RHCE booking on another account - both using the same login ID.
Since my exam is booked for tomorrow, I'll wait until I take my exam to request a fix.. worried my schedule / everything will dissapear.
I'm not sure to understand what you mean by: "I am already RHCSA certified, but apparently, that's another account with the same user ID"
What makes you say so?
Red Hat's certifications are only associated with a Red Hat certification ID such as XXX-XXX-XXX. Optionnally, if you want to be able to manage your certifications on Red Hat Certification Central, you may associate that 9-digits certification ID with a Red Hat user ID by following this procedure.
It doesn't matter if you take further exams bought from different Red Hat accounts or even your employer's corporate account, as long as you take them under the same individual certification ID. They will all be associated to you only, and count toward becoming RHCE and RHCA.
If your certification ID had already been associated with a different Red Hat user ID in the past, then you may want to re-associate it with your current Red Hat user ID, the one of your RHLS. That would allow you to manage your Red Hat Certification Central preferences with the same credentials you use to log in to RHLS in a more convenient way. You need to engage with Red Hat support to do so, as indicated in this solution.
Thank you, that looks like the right solution, I will contact support to transfer my certification ID to my RHLS account.
