Additions
- Catalog filtering - A new filtering UI is now available for the 3 Catalogs in RHLS. The offering Catalog, the Skills Paths catalog, and the Premium Session catalog now all include this new UI that left-aligns the filters, and allows the full screen to be used for offering cards.
This change provides the following benefits:- Aligns RHLS with Red Hat web branding standards
- Gives users a search field targeted to the offerings currently displayed in the catalog
- Standardizes the learning platform UX for the next phases of RHLS that are coming later this year!
- Control bar - the following updates were made to improve the course experience on mobile devices:
- Users can swipe left to go to the Next page, and swipe right to go to the Previous page in a course
- When accessing a lab, mobile users will receive a warning about the optimal experience for working with the lab.
- Support pane - the following updates were made to the Support form for RHLS customers to provide more direction towards available self-help:
- Direct link to the platform FAQs
- Direct link to launch the Resource Center. This tool provides access to the Expert Chat, and self help resources such as tutorials, FAQs, demonstrations, announcements, and walkthroughs.
- Reduced view of the support form removes unneeded form fields.
Fixes
- Overview pages -Available translations are now displayed correctly on Lesson Overview pages.
- Control bar - The link for the Overview tab in the minimized TOC is now disabled when a user is already on the Overview tab.
