I can not use the LAB Environment for severay days. Today, messages said the problem has been cleared. So I went to CREATE the LAB VMs. One hour is not enough for LAB to get ready for use! But my LAB HOURS count jumped 8 hours up! This is unacceptable. I ever asked for support for this kind of things, but got no response so far.
I find myself in the same situation as yourself, and I do have to agree that this is silly.
What I have noticed is that the Lab-hours counter starts when you issue a start or create command...this includes the power-up time. Having that the labs have had issues in the past 10+ days, this has become obvious. I found myself recreating lab environments hoping for a stable instance, basically wasting about 8-9 hours of lab time myself.
My LAB environment came back today. The response time get better. 10 Lab hours are added for my lost hours. It sounds fair. Thanks to Red Hat service team.
I can connect to the lab environment as well, but now i can't get the lab-configure script to run successfully as it cannot reach the nexus API:
Did you experience this issue today? Did you fix it? How?
DO180 (APAC Region): The lab environment is accessible. However, I spent 90% of my time today in the lab receiving errors from basic command like "oc status"... I tried deleting the classroom environment and re-create again. However, when I try configuring the lab I'm receiving more errors... Already ticketed this problem. Just putting this out there in case anyone else have the same issues.
I have similar issues today. Running lab-configure claims:
Cannot login to OpenShift using your developer credentials.
Baiscally I am stuck at the beginning
I am now getting a banner displayed stating that the lab environment is up and running again, which is certainly not the case. I spent several hours deleting and creating labs again, starting and stopping and the result always remains the same: If I am lucky, I can start the VM but do not have internet. But in most cases I cannot even start or connect to the workstation.
Tomorrow my second try EX280 is scheduled and I begin to feel lost...
Labs should be resolved in all regions. Users in APAC and EMEA attempting to access course labs for DO180, DO288, DO295, DO101 & DO400 are being rerouted successfully to NA datacenters.
For any user who has lost lab hours due to the counter going up for unprovisioned labs, please submit a support ticket, and that team will work to resolve your overall lab count in your subscription.
