What is XE?
Red Hat Exam Experience (XE) exams are hands-on practice exams where candidates perform tasks using Red Hat technologies in a cloud-based environment. These exams replicate the Remote Exam (RE) setup, including hardware and onboarding requirements, to provide candidates with a realistic preview of the actual certification exam. XE exams do not issue certificates or results.
The Learning Platform team released four new Exam Experiences (XE) which are added to the RHLS Catalog and represent an experience a user would have while taking an exam for either Ansible, RHEL, OpenShift and OpenStack.
It is part of new Exam readiness capabilities in RHLS, for users that have a subscription that includes exams.
Purpose:
To familiarize candidates with the Red Hat certification exam environment, processes, and requirements.
Key Details:
- Enrollment & Scheduling: Through the Individual Exam Scheduler
- Duration: 1 hour
- Modality: Remote only
- ID verification and room scan included for awareness of policies like clean desk, proper camera setup, and environment readiness.
