i’m having some issues with the boot of the Remote Exam Live ISO.
During the preparation for the Remote Exam for ROL Course DO288, i tried to boot my Laptop using the Remote Exam Live ISO. I'm following the docs available here: https://www.redhat.com/en/resources/remote-exams-preparation-ebook.
Downloaded https://static.redhat.com/downloads/training-certification/rhrexboot.iso and written it to USB Stick by using the dd utility.
The boot process is starting until the screen "environment is loading into memory" appears, it counts up to 100% and then nothing more is happening.
I tried different USB-Stick, always the same result.
For tests, i also used the rhrexboot-2020-08.iso Image, which i found as reference in an redhat Issue description, this one is working for me. Boot is without error, and the hardware compatibility checks are successful.
I plan to do the exam soon, thanks to advice how to proceed. I only have one Laptop available for the training/exam, it's a Lenovo Thinkpad P50.
Greetings
Oliver

Do we think that we could base the remote examine image on the latest fedora?
I am able to boot/install/run my AMD system with an Intel ARC GPU without any issues on Fedora Core 38.

Currently, the Remote exam environment is being ported to Fedora 37. It should resoleve some compatibility issues. The date of releasing is not known

Is there a location that can be checked to monitor when new boot iso images are ported/released? I have the same issue here with my newer laptop failing to boot any of the images so will be using an older laptop for my exams. If there was somewhere to monitor/check periodically to see if a new iso has been released that would be good vs downloading and checking the md5 against what I have already tried.

		Second this.
Please provide a page with a link to all of the ISOs as system compatibility appears to be volatile. The 2020 ISO is still needed by many people as well

had this issue with the latest iso. Solved this issue:
-- MotherBoard configuration
- ACPI off
- XHCI off
- Trusted Platform Security off
- CSM support Enabled
--- USB efi
--- Other Storage Legacy
- Secure Boot Off
---- At this stage system freezes with blinking cursor. But when I hit the Alt+F2 I saw login prompt via Console...
When I switched the Graphics from Asus to Internal Intel Graphics, I saw the login screen.

		Hello @moty ,
Kindly check whether the ISO was burned onto USB properly/completely. If not, you could format the drive and burn it again.
NOTE: We recommend either Fedora Media writer or Command prompt to burn the drive
The latest Remote Exam ISO is not secure boot compliant and may not work on systems that have the Secure Boot setting "enabled".
You can try another system (if available) and see if it boots from the ISO otherwise you can try another version of ISO from this link which is secure boot compliant
