I am trying to set up the environment to take my rhcsa ex200k remotely but got stuck at the "environment is loading into memory" screen
I disabled secure boot in the bios uefi to no avail
Also, I switched the thumb drive on all the USB ports on my machine but still couldn't get past the screen.
Hi. I tried on 3 different laptops, newer or older, 3 different USB memory sticks, and 2 different ISO versions, but to no avail. I already rescheduled the exam a couple of times, until now the exam token expires. I think Redhat should either remove the remote exam option, or make these prerequisites easier than the exam itself.

Hello.
3 laptops, 3 USB sticks and 2 ISOs..Not providing more information or error messages on the issues you had, but accusing Redhat.. Sorry, but did you read the specifications? Did you meet the requirements? Did you contact the support?
i too have been having this same issue, i took the exam on my laptop the first time without any issues the 2nd time is where i have encountered the issue of my webcamera not being synced with their system. i have bought multiple laptops and USB and still no results. I would go to an exam center but redhat doesnt have locations in the north east , which is fustrating.I agree that they should really look at their remote exam process, as more people of all walks of life are coming to tech everyday, they are other ways to take a remote exam.
I managed to reboot into Red Hat Remote Exam. I am stuck for more than 30min environmet is loading into memory.
I am using VirtualBox windows 11. I turn off secure boot. Downloaded lateset Fedora Media Writer. VM has 9G RAM, 80G storage. Had to cancel my eaxm bc of that.
What shall I do? do I have to go to RH office to do exam?
@IvanaD_RHEL check out this post for step-by-step guidance on getting your computer ready for the Remote Exam.
Make sure to follow the instructions in the eBook closely, and reach out to the Exam Support team if you run into any issues, there is a live chat widget at this page.
@IvanaD_RHEL The remote exam environment does not run in Virtual machines. You cannot boot the Exam ISO simply into any L1 or L2 virtualizer. You need to make a bootable USB stick and boot a physical bare-metal computer.
