		Hi,
Latest ISO is encrypted and hence you can try to boot from USB drive (In UEFI Mode) .

I wanted to test this ISO in VM first, neither hypervisor is able to boot it (VMware/Vbox refuses to boot it, qemu fails during the startup). md5 of the downloaded iso is the same as reported above.
I can't use my book to test it yet, I was wondering if ISO image is OK. Can somebody confirm it works ? Maybe it's an added challange to boot it in VM now : )

The remote exam system is not supposed to be used in a virtualized environment.
I think it will detect that and stop working.

It was working before. Not that I have intention of running it in VM during actual exams it was a legit way to check the USB key very fast before actual HW prep for exam.
Also, I used it for my little fun when I rooted the image (easier to debug , execute, etc. in virt env.)

Ok, executed in VM, rooted. Thank you for extra fun ; )
ps1: vm is just added fun, not needed for actual rooting.

I booked the remote exam for this Friday (in a day) thinking it will be OK as I did test this two months ago or so. Since then new image was released. I verified the MD5 is correct, tested few USB keys too.
My HP EliteBook 745 G6 can't boot any more, boot error as shown in picture. The version is not easily spotted, it's 20231116.P.e97f158. failed grub boot
I've the ISO version from June too, version 20230630.F.40d671d. My notebook has no problem booting this version. Would it be a problem if I connect with that ISO image tomorrow ?
Btw. I tested newn ISO image on my devices:
iMac20,1 - frozen during startup
iMac12,2 - unknown error
Odroid H3 - same error as notebook
Odroid H2 - same error as notebook
HP workstation from 2012 - unsupported
