Hi Vishals,
Hi @DirkSeifert ,
I understand your concern, however I am unable to comment on a solution for your scenario and only the proctors can make a decision depending on all factors at the time of the incident.
Alternatively, the candidate can also raise a support ticket and the team will perform a thorough review and decide.
On the keyboard layout issue, I am sorry you had to look for a US keyboard. We currently have a new version of the remote exam image being tested which should fix the non-English keyboard layout issues. I expect it to be released in the next few weeks.
Best Regards,
Hi,
I have downloaded the exam image iso a few times on two different computers, each time the image is corrupted
Is there any other source of the image?
or please provide SHA sum of image
Hello @kpietras,
A new exam image was released earlier this week. The size of the rhrexboot.iso is about 2.3 GB. The MD5 checksum is 585cb364da1ae2fae94e22e07913316e.
Best Regards,
Shefeeq
How many days before the exam should I download an image? I'm not sure how often they are updated and if it matters that I have an older version.
My USB currently has an image that was downloaded on Nov 26th, which is the image that I used to test my laptop (different hash).
My exam is this Friday.
Thanks!
My image's checksum is not the same as mentioned above. I downloaded it from official redhat's mail. Its 0dd72ac558fc1afbf0c0e1fa4b366f10 . Could someone please confirm if checksum has changed ?
Dears,
I've downloaded the Remote Exam Bootable Live USB ISO file , and wrote it to a USB drive, but while booting to the Remote Exam Bootable Live USB, I got the error "progress.mod" not found (kindly see attachment).
Appreciate your prompt reply, since i need to schedule the exam asap.
Thanks,
Hi @helmahdy ,
This looks like the USB is incorrectly created. Have you tried recreating the USB again? Please contact support if you still have problems after recreating the bootable media.
Regards,
Hi,
USB was created properly. I've done a change in the UEFI/BIOS Boot Mode, and the issue has been fixed.
Thanks,
I"m glad it was resolved. Good luck with your exam!
