network is showing as not enables when I boot into live environment.I have link to my route via wired connection.I see its enabled but every time I try to finish booting to the live env it says network is not enabled.
Hi all, another question. My external camera have autofocus but the identification document is not readable, when I put it near the camera.
Then I try with both internal and external camera activated, because the autofocus of the internal camera working fine. Can I keep both active and use the internal for focus on the identification document and external for show the environment? Thanks.
That should be OK - I've used a similar setup in the past and hadn't had any issues or comments from surprised proctors.
Hi, you may try this guide: https://www.redhat.com/rhdc/managed-files/tr-remote-exams-preparation-ebook-f27382-202103-en_2.pdf They mention MacOS on page 18. Here is what they say: "2018 and later series of Mac systems have been found to have compatibility issues with several Linux® distributions. These issues impact the remote exam LiveUSB as well".
Not sure what are those "compatibility issues". I'd try downloading exam boot iso and creating a USB stick then test if everything is OK. I already run 3 or 4 tests of my PC that I'm going to use for the remote exam. In my case it's a regular PC with Win 10 and Intel CPU.
I think its safe to ask this question. On the test main page, is there a requirement to check the boxes for 'Done', 'Revisit', or even boxes inside the question prompts? It seems to me this is just for our own benefit. I left quite a few checked to revisit and now I'm thinking they weren't graded?
I'm positive that those progress markers are for your information only. Grading will be done solely based on what you've created on your test systems.
The e-mail with your test results contains a link to contact Red Hat to query them about your results. I've found this very helpful, even though you won't get all the details because of the certification NDA.
