Hi,

My Mac has BigSur OS Version 11.6

Is it a compatiable OS to take the remote exam?

This is not about the MacOS but the MacBook hardware. You will be using the
hardware to boot from a USB disk (using Fedora OS - customized for exam).
So try to boot with the exam ISO and make sure your workstation is perfect
before you schedule an exam.

I made the bootable USB using the given iso file but when I go to boot it, it doesn't work. It get a black scrren with "grub>" on it. Would like some help on this. Have my exam tomorrow.

Hi @snz_mohammed ,

Exiting the grub window usually helps and it should take you to the login screen. If you still have problems, please reach out to remote exam support chat for immediate assistance.

Look for this .pdf " tr-remote-exams-preparation-ebook-f27382-202103-en_1.pdf " on the net, in fact it does contains instructions how to download the bootable live USB based on your system.

Hey oanosike,

Copy and paste this " tr-remote-exams-preparation-ebook-f27382-202103-en.pdf " in your google search bar. You should see Red Hat remote exam on the top, click on it. That should download right there the .pdf that contains all the instructions based on the system you use.

Note: I use Firefox.
