A new ISO for Remote Exam environment is now available for download, We highly recommend you to download the latest ISO and pass all compatibility tests before scheduling the exam.

Important note about Secure Boot

If Secure Boot is enabled (common on modern systems), a blank screen for ~3–5 minutes may appear during boot. This is expected and does not affect your ability to access the exam environment.

1. Download the latest ISO: rhrexboot-2025-10.iso.
2. Create the LiveUSB (bootable USB), boot your computer and run the compatibility test before scheduling your next exam.
3. Proceed to booking only after a successful compatibility check.

• rhrexboot-2023-06.iso is no longer available for download, However, it will still be accepted for exams till December 2025.

Thank you for responding. Current monitor supports resolution 1920x1080 and it goes to this only. I will try it again today and see if it changes anything else reach support as recommended.

It worked after I understood from support team on how this new ISO works for dual monitors unlike the earlier ISO which provided an option to choose the monitor and make it the only display.

During the initial boot from new ISO the display shows on laptop.After that it gives a message like "It will take a minute or two" for setup.At this stage the laptop monitor lid has to be closed and display automatically shows on external monitor. Opening the laptop monitor at any time gives a pop up message "only one display is allowed". I could do all the pre-checks using the new ISO. Hope this helps others.

Since my new laptop has only 3 USB ports I could connect only 1 external camera directly to laptop and second to my monitors extension USB. The external camera connected to extension USB on monitor did not work. Came to know that second fixed camera was not essential for exam, it is for case where one is unable to show ID verification properly on the wired camera. That was new and surprise for me as I believed the second facing me is also required for exam and configured it that way for my setup so far.

Hi All,  Exam iso rhrexboot-2025-07.iso does not work for me.

After the 100% load message shows on the screen, my PC got shutdown. 

I have been using the same PC for testing for couple years. the 2023-06 ISO works fine.

Can someone help ?
