Calamari

Has anyone used calamari for monitoring ceph .  can i use it on RHEL as well ?

Calamaris is in the EPEL repository, but I cannot comment on using it with Ceph.

I've never used Calamari but I do see references to it being available for RHEL 7 and it's derivitives and I do see it claims to be compatible with up to Ceph Jewel (RHCS 2).

If you are using Ceph Luminous (RHCS 3) or Mimic, you might be better served by the ceph-mgr builtin web dashboard (it's pretty simple to enable).

There are also plugins for Nagios and other enterprise monitoring tools.
